Annual Report

I designed the 2019 Annual report for Open Door Preschool in Austin Texas. They gave me the text, inspiration for the color scheme, their logo, gorgeous images by photographer Deborah Cannon, and a general sense of their light-hearted, welcoming vibe.

I made bubbles the theme of the annual report because their logo has a lot of circles and some of my favorite photos they provided were of kids interacting with bubbles. From there, I was able to incorporate bubbles and circles into graphs, picture frames and other decorative elements.

They did not have a vector or high resolution raster logo, so I remade their logo to use in the annual report and gave it to them for use in future projects as well. The font in the logo is Point Soft, which I used throughout the report for both headlines and body copy because it is very readable and contributed to the soft, bubbly feel.

Their response was, “It really is a beautiful report and speaks to the core of what we do!!”
