Ending the Silence

I created flyers and social media graphics to recruit presenters for NAMI NJ’s Ending the Silence presentations.

They asked for images of diverse young people looking happy and using cell phones, and people giving presentations. I used fonts and colors from NAMI’s brand guidelines.

SAMHAJ Logo

I redesigned the logo for South Asian Mental Health Awareness in Jersey (SAMHAJ). They wanted logo a blue lotus to represent wisdom.

Application: Adobe Illustrator

After discussing the logo with SAMHAJ and conducting research, I created several iterations of logos for them to choose from.

For these designs, I used the blue from the NAMI brand guidelines.

Once SAMHAJ chose their three favorite designs, I created versions of them using different color schemes, per their request.

With their new logo, I redesigned SAMHAJ’s informational brochure.

I used the brand guidelines from NAMI and existing NAMI brochures for reference, and input text provided by SAMHAJ.

I chose the middle blue from the logo’s final colors for the color scheme, and used Adobe Color to choose a contrasting color.
